1982 - Service Conversion (Southampton)
1982 - Service Conversion (Southampton)
Following her return from the Falklands QE2 underwent an eight week conversion back to being a commercial liner with the work performed in Southampton.
Most notably this was the work that created the pebble gray exterior finish and for the first time her funnel colours reverted to those of Cunard. The latter she remains with until today, the former until 1983. Reflects what worked and what didn't
Any further details please post
