1981 - Refit (Southampton)
1981 - Refit (Southampton)
Took place between 10th & 24th November
I have no further details, so please add to the thread. I particularly would like to know if this was a wet or dry-dock refit.

Update
This was in fact a wet-docking. Although she still entered the KGV dry-dock for the refit no work was required on the lower hull, propellars or rudder. The success of the previously applied anti-foul paint meant that no hull cleaning/scraping was required and effectively meant the yearly refits could now take place every two years.
